St. Petersburg Man Dies After Crashing SUV In Bartow

A 27-year-old St. Petersburg man has died after losing control of his SUV on State Road 60 in Bartow.

BARTOW, FL — A 27-year-old St. Petersburg man has died after losing control of his SUV on State Road 60 in Bartow.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, just after 9 a.m. Wednesday, the SUV was heading west, approaching the driveway of 1920 State Road 60 when the driver lost control, striking an embankment, fence and mailbox.

The driver was taken to the hospital where he died.
