Video: Tips Sought On Winter Haven Convenience Store Robbery

POLK COUNTY, FL — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred at a convenience store in unincorporated Winter Haven on Sept. 8 at 4:49 pm.

A man walked into the store at 2477 Rifle Range at the intersection of Eagle Lake Loop Road in Wahneta, presented a note demanding money and then walked away after the sales clerk complied.

The man was wearing gloves and a mask, and had his face, skin and hair completely covered, so there is no description available.
