WINTER HAVEN, FL β Winter Haven police investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the man in a sketch who sexually assaulted a woman at Trailhead Park.
On Aug. 27, around 11 p.m., a woman was at Trailhead Park feeding cats in the area as she commonly does. As she walked back to her car, she was approached by a Hispanic man who placed something against her back as he pushed her against her car. The man began cutting off her shirt from the back and physically attacked the woman. He then walked off while laughing, said Winter Haven police.
The woman told investigators that she saw the man at the park on Aug. 25 while she was feeding the cats, and he asked her for assistance over to a bench because he said he couldn't see.
