DUI Wolfpack Announced for Pasco, Hillsborough

The Florida Highway Patrol will be on the prowl this weekend.

Tampa Bay area motorists may want to think twice about hitting the road without a designated driver this weekend.

The Florida Highway Patrol has announced that a multi-county DUI Wolfpack Operation is planned for Saturday night and into Sunday morning in a three-county area. Troopers will hit the road around 10 p.m. Saturday until about 4 a.m. Sunday, covering the Veterans and Suncoast expressways in Pasco, Hillsborough and Hernando counties.

The operation is being conducted out of the Land O’ Lakes sub-district.

consumed by utilizing designated drivers, taxi services or holding events where driving is not necessary,” a media release on the operation stated. “Should motorists encounter impaired drivers they are urged to contact the FHP by calling *FHP (*347).”
