Dunkin' Donuts Fundraiser Benefits Local Family

The multiday benefit is being staged to help the family of a man who died on Christmas Day from a sudden heart attack.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — Dunkin’ Donuts lovers who can’t get enough of the chain’s coffee can take some home this weekend and do a little good in the process.

Several area Dunkin’ Donuts, including the one in north Land O’ Lakes, are taking part in a fundraiser to benefit the family of Jason NeJame of Spring Hill. NeJame died of a sudden heart attack on Christmas Day, leaving his wife, Kalah, a Dunkin’ Donuts employee, behind. The NeJames also have three children, including an infant.

To help out the family, several Dunkin’ Donuts locations have agreed to donate $1 from every pound of coffee, K-Cup pack and Box O’ Joe sold between Friday and Sunday. The locations participating are:
