Early Voting: Where to Go in Land O' Lakes

Land O’ Lakes residents hoping to avoid lines on Primary Election Day can cast their ballots in advance. Early voting officially begins Saturday.

Several polling locations have been established for the early voting period, which opens Saturday at 9 a.m. and closes Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. Each polling place will accept voters from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to an email from the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office.

The following locations are the closest for Land O’ Lakes residents:

· Land O’ Lakes Library – 2818 Collier Parkway

· The Grove at Wesley Chapel, 6013 Wesley Grove Blvd., Suite 101C

“Early voting remains a popular option, and for the convenience of voters in central Pasco, we have added a new early voting site at The Grove at Wesley Chapel,” said Supervisor Brian Corley in an email to media. “We are grateful to Genesis Real Estate for providing this location to serve Wesley Chapel voters at no cost to the taxpayers of Pasco County.”

In order to vote, those registered must present a photo and signature identification or vote a provisional ballot. For more information about voting, upcoming elections and getting registered, visit the elections office online at pascovotes.com.

Primary Election Day is set for Aug. 26.
