Karin D'Amico 4-D Guv'na of Lutz! Scoot your boots in Lutz! The GFWC Lutz/Land O' Lakes Woman's Club candidate will the holding a fund raiser bake sale on Sunday from 9am 'til 12 noon, or whenever our bake goods are gone. It will be in front of Rooms and Relics which is just down from The Breakfast Nook. Come for breakfast at the Nook, shop at Rooms and Relics and Support the Woman's Club candidate for d'Guv'na of Lutz by giving a donation for a delicious homemade cakes, cookies, breads, brownies and other various culinary delights!
The Lutz Guv’na race was started in 1991 as a way to raise money for area charities while bringing the community together. Each year the candidate who raises the most money by the Lutz Independence Day celebration is declared the winner. It’s a wonderful way to have a good time while bringing in money for nonprofit groups. The race is sort of a spoof and it has been said it is the only honest campaign in America as the candidate who raises the most money wins!
