Florida Included in Bread Recall

There is a concern about broken glass in bread sold under the Nature's Harvest, Sara Lee and Bimbo brand names.

Florida residents are being asked to check their pantries for bread products that have been voluntarily recalled by their maker, Bimbo Bakeries USA.

Some bread products sold under the brand names of Sara Lee, Bimbo and Nature’s Harvest may be contaminated with glass from a broken light bulb, the Pennsylvania-based bakery announced Wednesday. The company pulled the bread products across 11 states after receiving three complaints about small pieces of glass on the outside of the bread, a media release on the recall stated.

“There are no reports of injuries,” the company noted.
