BROOKSVILLE, FL – Live Oak Theatre Company, a not-for-profit, family-oriented theater company, will conduct its eighth annual summer program from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19 through June 23 at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mt. Fair Ave. in Brooksville.

Each day of camp includes a lunch break and snack time, with participants bringing their own lunch, drinks and healthy snacks. Arrangements are also available for early drop-off/late pick up, on a case by case basis.

The suggested donation for tuition is $150.

The camp is open to children ages 7-18. Special arrangements may be made for younger children based on interview and audition. Campers will be split into three age groups.

Campers will learn various concepts of musical theater including:

  • Vocal technique
  • Song interpretation
  • Movement to music
  • Auditioning skills
  • Stage make-up
  • Set/costume theory and technique
  • Acting skills such as:
    • Characterization
    • Improve technique
    • And much more

Anyone who wishes to reserve a place for her/his child, may send a deposit/donation of $25, payable to Live Oak Theatre Company and mailed to Live Oak Theatre Company, P O Box 12285 Brooksville FL 34603.
