Haunted House on 41 Makes its Return

Land O’ Lakes area residents hoping for a scare before Halloween just have to hold out a few more nights.

The Haunted House on 41 is making its return Friday and Saturday nights. Staged at the Land O’ Lakes Community Center at 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., the house features scares courtesy of community volunteers.

Each year, volunteers, generally from local high schools, pitch in to transform the community center’s interior into a dark and spooky maze. Those volunteers earn the right to dress in their scary best to deliver frights to visitors at every turn. The annual Halloween event is set to run Oct. 23-24 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. nightly.

The cost to enter, for those who dare, is $1 a person.

The haunted house has been a Land O’ Lakes tradition for years.
