Land O' Lakes Schools Open on Veterans Day

As people across America recognize men and women who have served in the armed forces, Land O' Lakes students will have to hit the books.

All Pasco County Public Schools are open Monday, Nov. 12, according to the district's calendar. Most county government offices, however, are closed in observance of the holiday. 

While students in Pasco don't get the day off, most schools do have some observance of the holiday on their calendars.

And for those who are just tired of hitting the books, there's a break on the horizon. Pasco schools close Nov. 19-23 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
