Marco Rubio Making Pasco Campaign Stop
The Republican candidate for president is swinging by a Hudson barbecue joint on Saturday.

HUDSON, FL — Tampa Bay area Marco Rubio supporters who want to meet their candidate in advance of Tuesday’s Florida Presidential Preference Primary will get their chance Saturday.
Sen. Rubio’s campaign has announced a stop on the Republican candidate’s schedule for 11:15 a.m., March 12. It seems Rubio plans to greet supporters at Hudson’s own Ron’s Bar-B-Que, 9400 State Road 52. While it’s unclear if Rubio plans to stay for lunch, anyone is welcome to attend, John Tracy, the Pasco County co-chair for Rubio’s campaign, told Patch.
Florida voters head to the polls Tuesday, March 15 to make their picks in the Republican and Democrat primaries. Rubio, one of Florida’s two senators, has a lot on the line in his home-state election. The most recent polls show Rubio trailing Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, but the gap between the two is closing.
