Moses is a 3-year-old domestic short-hair cat looking for a new home. He's considered a Hemingway, which means he has a few extra toes. According to workers at the Pasco County Animal Services shelter that means he's a natural at catching mice.
Moses is a pretty laid-back cat who is even willing to snuggle. He doesn't mind being held like a baby either. The stray has called the animal services shelter, 19640 Dogpatch Ln., his home since Jan. 22.
Right now cats like Moses are being offered at reduced prices. He can be adopted for $20. Dogs, which normally cost $70 to adopt, are available for $35. The price of adopting includes spaying or neutering, a vet check, shots and more.

Adoption center hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from noon to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from noon to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:30 p.m. The center is closed on holidays. For more information, call 813-929-1212.
