Movie Theater On Tap For New Wiregrass Development

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — A new development on the drawing board by the developers of the Shops at Wiregrass mall will include apartments, restaurants, stores and a movie theater.

Slated to be built just east of the mall on the northern side of State Road 56, the development’s theater would boast 1,035 seats, the Tampa Bay Times reports. The project, which doesn’t have a name just yet, is still in the permitting phase. Preliminary site plans have been filed with Pasco County.

The theater would be the second for central Pasco County, adding another option on top of Cobb Theatres’ Grove of Wesley Chapel.
