New Restaurant - Vita Bella

A winning combo - quickly gaining popularity

A short time ago we introduced you to Vita Bella, a new concept in dining. Joe Marchica and John Hill have become a dynamic duo, serving Italian food and fresh fish to grateful Land O' Lakes residents. From what we hear, the combination is catching on.

Our editor, Sherri Lonon raves about Joe's clam chowder. Diane Stafford, a Land O' Lakes resident, commented to Patch, "This food is fantastic," after enjoying a dish of lasagna with a salad and Vita Bella's fresh baked bread.

John's fishing boats in Homosassa and Hudson bring in fresh catches of wild Florida seafood which go into exotic recipes. He has even convinced his partner, on occasion, to create a pizza shaped like a fish.

Teresa Duggins owns Precision Cuts Barber Shop. She expressed her appreciation for Vita Bella and was so glad to have them nearby, "It's so nice to be able to get fresh fish and raw oysters. The fish is really fresh and the pizzas have a wonderful crisp crust. I also love their smoked wings. We had them during the Super Bowl."

One of her long-time customers is Tom Thielges, who owns Under The Sun, in Land O' Lakes. He had also visited Joe and John for breakfast one day.  "I was surprised at how much they served. I thought it was not only great food but a good value", said Tom.

Don't miss the Valentine's Day Specials - Vita Bella will have several amazing entrees. Why not try the Surf-and-Turf or their Amore Chicken Marsala for two?

There are so many new tastes to experience at Vita Bella. Besides Joe's home-made Sicilian recipes, and Johns fresh from the Gulf grouper and clams, they have fish tacos every Tuesday, amazing breakfasts, pancakes, omelets (try the grouper omelet or feta-omelet), wings, soups, salads and all manner of pizza (some topped with seafood). It seems consensus is in; Vita Bella is worth trying. Once you do, we think you'll come back - again and again.

The restaurant is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. For more information, visit 4710 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. or call 813-527-6903.
