Online Fundraising Begins for Heritage Stage

As Pasco County continues renovating Land O’ Lakes Community Center Park, the folks at the Heritage Park Foundation are ramping up efforts to pay for a covered stage.

The nonprofit group exists to support the 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. park with fundraising efforts and assistance with special events, such as Traditions on the Green at Christmastime.

Construction of the amphitheater is expected to cost about $150,000. The hope is to eventually have the stage available for outdoor concerts for local schools, festivals and fundraisers.

To expedite fundraising efforts, the Heritage Park Foundation has established an online portable where donations for construction of the stage can be made via PayPal. Sponsorships are also being accepted.
