Pasco Parents Can Now Pay School Fees Online

From field trips to yearbooks, it just got a whole lot easier for Land O' Lake parents to keep up with payments to their kids' schools.

The Pasco County School Board has just made it more convenient for parents to pay all those extra fees associated with sending their kids back to class.

Starting this academic year, the district will now accept online credit and debit card payments through SchoolPay. The new program means parents can pay for such things as activity fees, field trips, yearbooks and more at local schools or online through links on individual school websites using plastic instead of paper.

The new program was piloted last year at Wiregrass Ranch High School and Connerton Elementary, according to a district media release.

“It’s important to me as superintendent to offer parents convenience and to increase our use of technology in our daily operations,” Superintendent Kurt Browning is quoted in the release as saying.

The district will continue to use MyLunchMoney.com for meal payments. School vending machines and lunchrooms will also be outfitted with credit and debit card readers.
