Pasco Promotes Tourism With Skydive Contest

Fans of Pasco County Tourism's Facebook page could win a tandem free-fall.

Pasco County is so serious about promoting its eco- and adventure tourism opportunities it wants to people to jump out of a plane–literally.

The county is running a promotion on Facebook that will enable one lucky winner the chance to experience a tandem free-fall at no charge.

The 2,500th person to like Pasco County Tourism’s Facebook page–who is also a fan of Skydive City in Zephyrhills–will win the free fall, parachute included.

β€œYou must like both pages and be our (the county’s) 2,500th follower,” explained Ed Caum, spokesman for Pasco County Tourism.

β€œSkydive City is a great international sports destination. We are working with our partners to promote Pasco to a wider audience and expand our brand as a place to come and experience ecotourism adventures, mud races and adrenaline activities,” he said.

To enter the contest, just like Pasco County Tourism’s Facebook page and Skydive City’s, too.

The page had 1,880 fans as of 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2.
