Pasco Schools Tuesday Class Decision Announced
Classes were canceled in Pasco County early on Monday after threats of high wind and heavy rain prompted safety concerns.
LAND 'O LAKES, FL -- Pasco County students do have to report to classes on Tuesday, the second to last day of the academic year.
That's the word from the Pasco County school district as of Monday evening.
"Parents have been notified that Pasco County Schools will be open on Tuesday, June 7th," the district wrote in an email to media. "If flood waters or other storm damage hinder anyone’s ability to get their student to school, they are asked to notify their school administration."

Schools throughout Pasco County closed early Monday as threats of high winds and heavy rain related to Tropical Storm Colin prompted safety concerns. Wednesday, June 8 is the last day of the 2015-16 school year.
