Pasco Sets Kindergarten Preregistration Date
Parents can get ahead of the curve for the 2015-16 school year.

Pasco County parents who want to get a jump on the next school year can preregister their children for kindergarten.
District-wide preregistration is set for Monday, May 4 at all elementary schools in Pasco. The school district recommends parents contact the appropriate school in their area for more details about orientation events. A complete list of schools is available on the county’s website.
In order to register an incoming kindergartener, these requirements must be met:

- The child must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2015
- Parents must be able to present the child’s birth certificate or other proof of birth date
- A health examination must be completed and HRS Form 3040 presented to the school
- An HRS Certificate of Immunization must also be presented at the time of registration
- Proof of Florida residency, such as a current utility bill, lease agreement, driver’s license or state ID card must also be presented
