Pasco Shelter Bursting At The Seams
The county is hoping residents missing pets will take note since many of the dogs being held in an overflow area are strays.
LAND O’ LAKES, FL — Pasco County Animal Services is bursting at the seams with dogs in need of a good home or reunions with their owners.
“We have dogs in overflow waiting for an open kennel,” Andrea Ciesluk, animal services’ education coordinator said on Friday.
Since the majority of the dogs being held in county custody at the moment are strays, animal owners whose pooches have turned up missing are asked to be sure to check out the 19640 Dogpatch Lane kennel in Land O’ Lakes before giving up hope of a reunion. A number of dogs and cats are also available for adoption.
