Pasco Sheriff Investigates Violence Against Son, Brother, Puppy
Pasco County Sheriff's deputies spent a busy weekend investigating a number of violence complaints and an animal cruelty complaint.

HOLIDAY, FL – Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies spent a busy weekend investigating a number of violence complaints including a fight between two brothers, between a father and son and between a man and his puppy.
Deputies were called to 3539 Margate Drive in Holiday after Jordan Wubbena complained that his 28-year-old brother, Jeremy, beat him up and tried to strangle him.
Jordan Wubbena said the two brothers, who live together, got into a fight during during which Jeremy Wubbena tried to strangle and threatened to kill his brother with a baseball bat.

Jeremy Wubbena was charged with domestic battery by strangulation, domestic battery and domestic aggravated assault.
Also over the weekend, a father was charged with domestic battery after being accused of getting into a bar fight with his son.

According to sheriff’s reports, deputies received a call around 2 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, from Christopher Hendrick of 5013 Osprey Lane, New Port Richey, accusing his father, Michael Sean Allman, 51, of beating him up during a fight at the Whiskey River Sports Bar and Grill in Port Richey.
Hendrick said the father and son became involved in a heated verbal argument that turned physical at the bar.
Deputies say Hendrick sustained a laceration over this eye that appeared to require stitches but he refused medical treatment.
A Pasco Sheriff’s deputy was injured after attempting to arrest a Dade City man on domestic battery charges over the weekend.
Deputies were called to 16026 Bonneville Drive, Dade City, following a complaint of domestic battery against Miguel Mendoza, 25.
Deputies say Mendoza began fighting them when they attempted to arrest him. In the process, Deputy Nicholas Digirolamo injured his right hand and was taken to Bayfront Health in Dade City for x-rays. Doctors say his hand was bruised and swollen, but no bones were broken.
Mendoza was charged with domestic battery and battery on a law enforcement officer.
A 37-year-old man is also facing domestic battery charges after deputies responded to a call in Zephyrhills over the weekend.
According to sheriff’s reports, a woman called from 37820 Silver Pines Ave., Zephyrhills, to report that Cecil Wright, 36, who lives at the same address, had pushed her into a wall, causing her to fall over a speaker and injure her arm. The victim said Wright then grabbed a 9 mm gun and threatened to kill her as he was leaving the home.
Wright, a convicted felon, was charged with domestic battery, tampering with a victim and possession of ammunition by a felon.
It was an alleged domestic battery of a different kind that landed Kendall Thomas Baker Jr., 29, of 37516 State Road 54 in Zephyrhills behind bars Saturday, Jan. 27.
Baker, 29, is accused of punching a puppy in the face several times, causing the puppy to sneeze and cough blood.
Baker told deputies he struck the puppy after it nipped at him, something he said he has “a zero tolerance for.”
Deputies said the puppy appeared to have a broken nose. Baker was charged with a felony count of cruelty to animals.
