Pasco Tax Collector's Office Will Now Accept Concealed Weapons Permit Renewal Applications

The Gulf Harbors branch will expand its concealed weapons services to include the processing of concealed weapons renewals.

Beginning August 20, the Gulf Harbors branch of the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office will expand its existing concealed weapons services to include the processing of concealed weapons renewals. Customers will be able to visit the Gulf Harbors location (4720 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey 34652) to apply for a concealed weapons permit renewal, as well as submit a first time concealed weapons application. The Gulf Harbors location is a “one-stop shop” for all concealed weapons permitting services (fingerprints and photographs).

“As tax collector my top priority is customer service,” states Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “Concealed weapons are important to many of our customers. To meet this need we began processing concealed weapons permit applications earlier this summer. Recently the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services has given approval for our office to also process renewal applications. New applicants will be able to visit our office and quickly go through the steps to apply for a concealed weapons permit renewal. Existing permit holders will now be able to submit their application through our office as well. The concealed weapons application and renewal will be sent to Tallahassee for approval and issuance.”

Concealed Weapons Permit services are available at the Gulf Harbors branch of the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This service is not available on Saturdays at this time. Appointments for concealed weapons permit applications are not required. Services are available to residents of any Florida County.
