Sunlake High Helicopter Landing Causing Alarm

Pasco County reports there's no reason for concern.

Land O’ Lakes area parents concerned about a Friday morning sighting of a Bayflight helicopter on the Sunlake High School campus can breathe easy.

Pasco County says the landing is part of a Prom Promise event. There is no emergency on the campus, county spokesman Doug Tobin said.

Tobin noted that a number of parents have called the county to find out if there was a problem on campus.
