Suspected DUI Driver Flees Scene After Rear-Ending Car on SR-56: FHP
BREAKING: A 48-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was arrested following the Tuesday crash.

PASCO COUNTY, FL β A 48-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was arrested for suspected driving under the influence after allegedly rear-ending a vehicle on SR-56 Tuesday evening then fleeing the scene in the Wesley Chapel area, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Wendy Rogers was behind the wheel of a 2013 Ford Edge driving east on SR-56 near Silver Maple Parkway shortly after 8 p.m. when she reportedly slammed into the back of a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup driven by a 21-year-old Wesley Chapel man, who was stopped at a red light, troopers said.
Rogers drove off but was located and arrested a short time later on suspicion of DUI, property damage, leaving the scene and careless driving, the FHP said.
