Swamp Fest Ride Tickets Now On Sale

Organizers are also still accepting vendor applications.

Swamp Fest is returning to Land O’ Lakes just in time for Halloween and organizers say folks can save on advance tickets now.

The three-day event gets under way Friday, Oct. 30 and runs through Nov. 1 with the Wade Entertainment’s midway being among the biggest attraction. Pre-sale tickets for unlimited ride bands are now available for $16. Festival goers who purchase tickets during the festival will pay $22 for bands on Friday and Sunday and $25 on Saturday.

According to organizer Doug Hutchison, most local schools, as well as Sugar & Spice daycare, and the three Land O’ Lakes area Beef ‘O’Brady’s locations have tickets available.

The festival, which serves as a fundraiser for the Land O’ Lakes High School Athletic Booster Club and other local organizations, took a one-year hiatus when the 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. park was under renovation last year.

“The new park complex is beautiful,” Hutchinson said, adding that he hopes the community will come check out the event and the redone park.

While the festival is just around the corner, Hutchinson said there’s still time for vendors to sign up to take part. The cost for booths is $100 for businesses, $75 for arts and crafts vendors and $50 for nonprofits. School-based groups can get a free booth with approval from their school, Hutchinson said.

“We are looking forward to this year,” Hutchinson said.
