Animal-related educational activities, games, animal interactions, crafts, guest speakers and more! All camps are held at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo, on the 1st floor of the Ike and Libby Einherst Education Center.

Campers will learn about animal care, wildlife, veterinary medicine, animal careers, animal behavior, safety around animals and more. Camp T-shirt, SPCA water bottle, snacks and field trip included. For children ages 8-12 (8-year-olds must be currently enrolled in 3rd grade).

Session 3: Ain't Misbehavin'

Campers learn about animal behavior, types of enrichment, how to read body language, training techniques, canine massage and aromatherapy.

July 25-29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Camp Registration Fee: $210 (sibling discount $25)

Field Trip: Horsepower for Kids Petting Farm/Horse Stable

Extended Care: Before-care (9 to 10 a.m.): $35/week; After-care (3 to 5 p.m.): $75/week

Session 4: Exotic Treasures

Campers will learn about exotic pets, Florida marine mammals and wildlife, and enjoy time with our furry shelter animals.

August 1-5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Field Trip: Florida Aquarium

Extended Care: Before-care (9 to 10 a.m.): $35/week; After-care (3 to 5 p.m.): $75/week
