Largo Man Tried to Kill Wife, Cops Say

He now faces domestic-related attempted murder charges.

A 64-year-old Largo man faces criminal charges after police say he tried to shoot his wife.

According to the Largo Police Department, officers responded to the area of the Melrose on theΒ Bay apartments around 8:19 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance involving gun.

When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that Randy Etter and his wife had gotten into an argument. The wife, an email from the police department said, retreated into a bathroom and closed the door.
