Largo Pedestrian Killed in Crash
The accident happened Thursday evening along Ulmerton Road.
LARGO, FL — A 53-year-old Largo man is dead following a Thursday evening crash along Ulmerton Road east of Audrey Lane.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Dodge Avenger driven by Gail Herrera, 55, of Seminole was heading west on Ulmterton Road just after 8 p.m. At that time, James Carey Anderson was crossing Ulmerton and walked into the path of the oncoming car.
Anderson was taken to Northside Hospital where he died from his injuries, troopers say.

Charges are pending the outcome of an investigation.
Herrera and the passengers in her vehicle were not injured, troopers noted in a report.
