Miss Sharon's Animal Loving Professions Camp - 2 sessions remaining

Animal-related educational activities, games, animal interactions, crafts, guest speakers and more!

Animal-related educational activities, games, animal interactions, crafts, guest speakers and more! All camps are held at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo, on the 1st floor of the Ike and Libby Einherst Education Center.

Miss Sharon's Animal Loving Professions Camp – 2 sessions remaining

Campers will learn about careers in animal welfare, wildlife rescue and rehab, pet first aid, veterinary care, animal behavior, disaster preparedness and more. Camp T-shirts, SPCA water bottle, snacks and field trip included. For children ages 12-15 (12-year-olds must be currently enrolled in 7th grade).

Session 2: Born to be Wild

Campers learn about wildlife rescue and rehab, animals and the environment, how community programs work to help feral cats, safety around animals and more.

July 11-15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Camp Registration Fee: $245 (sibling discount $25)

Field Trip: Big Cat Rescue

Extended Care: Before-care (9 to 10 a.m.): $35/week; After-care (4 to 5 p.m.): $35/week

Session 3: Oh, Behave!

Campers learn about cat and dog behavior characteristics, animal enrichment, how to read body language, training techniques, canine massage, aromatherapy and more.

July 18-22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Field Trip: Horsepower for Kids Petting Farm/Horse Stable
