Parents Gave Teens Marijuana, Cocaine To Do Chores, Deputies Say
The Largo parents now face multiple child abuse charges.

As parents of teenagers know, getting them to do their chores isn’t always an easy feat.
A Largo couple, however, came up with a unique “bargaining tool” to entice their teenage daughters to get their work done. It also landed them in jail.
According to Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrest records, Joey and Chad Mudd were jailed Monday and Tuesday, respectively, after deputies learned they smoked marijuana with their 13- and 14-year-old daughters on several occasions. Chad Mudd is also accused of doing cocaine with the children and one of the girl’s boyfriends.
