Woman Racked Up 3 DUIs in 6 Days, Deputies Say
The Florida woman is now being held without bond after being accused of hitting a parked tow truck.

A Brandon woman is being held without bond in the Hillsborough County Jail after deputies say she managed to rack up three DUIs over the course of six days.
The first arrest for Jennifer Yi, 31, came on April 30 when deputies were called out to Parsons Avenue and Brandon Boulevard West in response to a woman that was exhibiting signs of impairment after parking a silver-colored BMW SUV, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Melissa Kincheloe said.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they reported Yi had slurred speech and was having difficulty following simple instruction, Kincheloe said. A DUI investigator was called out and Yi was ultimately charged with DUI.

The second arrest came on May 1 when a deputy made a traffic stop on a silver BMW SUV at 1015 Brandon Blvd. E. This time Yi, according to a sheriff’s office report, had difficulty maintaining a single lane while driving. In an arrest report, investigators noted, “the defendant had difficulty opening her eyes, she spoke with a thick tongue, and she was unstable on her feet.”

The third incident occurred late Monday evening at 1211 Camellia Drive in Brandon. This time Yi was in a green Honda CRV when she struck a parked Stepp’s Towing truck, causing an estimated $15,150 damage, a sheriff’s office report stated.
Yi was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail that time on a single count of DUI with property damage and two additional counts of DUI. Her third arrest came just after midnight on Tuesday, May 5, a total of six days after the first.
Jail records indicate Yi was released from custody after her first arrest on $500 bond. A $500 bond also did the trick following the May 1 arrest. Tuesday’s arrest, however, has resulted in Yi being held without bond, jail records indicate.
Yi listed her employer as Coca-Cola, according to jail records.
