• Man who murdered, dismembered Gulfport teen after days of torture pleads guilty (wfla.com) — A gruesome murder case with crucial ties to a Largo home moved forward this week as Steven Gress pleaded guilty to kidnapping and killing 16‑year‑old Miranda Corsette. Investigators say her body was taken to a Largo residence, where it was allegedly dismembered before the remains were discarded elsewhere. Authorities still have not recovered her remains, though biological evidence connects the crime to that Largo property.
   

• Seahawks GM John Schneider Goes Against Franchise's Interest with Bold Terrion Arnold Claim (yardbarker.com) — Largo is at the center of a high‑profile NFL controversy after reports that cornerback Terrion Arnold faces serious charges tied to an alleged violent incident at an Airbnb in the city. Despite that case and possible life‑sentence exposure, the Seattle Seahawks are still pursuing him on a short‑term deal. If signed, he'd be paid while barred from playing during the investigation.
