Habitat for Humanity completes Longlake Preserve, welcomes final homeowners in Clearwater (fox13news.com) — Families are moving into 54 new Habitat for Humanity homes on the Clearwater–Largo border, expanding affordable ownership options for local residents. The Longlake Preserve project, backed by Largo, Pinellas County and state funding, turns once-vacant land into townhomes and single-family houses, with zero-interest mortgages helping families build stability and fueling future Habitat construction across the region.
   

4. Florida man accused of strangling girlfriend after dispute over flatulence in bed, report says (mystateline.com) — Largo police arrested a 32-year-old man on a felony domestic battery by strangulation charge after an argument with his girlfriend escalated in their Pinellas County home. Investigators say the woman reported being choked and provided a recording of the couple discussing the altercation, and a judge has ordered the suspect held on bond with no contact allowed.
   

5. Tomasz Kosowski trial: Evidence reveals online searches before attorney death (fox13news.com) — A bench trial is underway for Dr. Tomasz Kosowski, accused of murdering Largo attorney Steven Cozzi, with Largo Police detailing extensive online searches and surveillance evidence they say show months of planning. Investigators described searches about Cozzi's life, a paralyzing drug, and trips to a remote dumpster, though Cozzi's body has never been found and the judge alone will decide Kosowski's fate.
