Second Man Arrested in Apartment Homicide: Report
The slaying occurred after a failed home invasion, say police.

Police on Sunday night arrested the second suspect in an August homicide in Largo, according to a media report.
Shaquille Ali Felder, 22, was arrested for the Aug. 13 shooting death of McKinley Torbit, 21, the Tampa Tribune reported. The other suspect, Frank Freeman, 23, has been charged with first-degree murder.

The Largo Police Department on Friday issued a warrant for Felder’s arrest. He and Freeman allegedly attempted to break in to Torbit’s dwelling in the Tara Garden Apartments, 1630 Jefferson Ave. They failed to enter the apartment, and when Torbit walked outside, they shot him in the courtyard of the complex, according to police.
