Update: Missing Largo Man Found in Taylor County
The 73-year-old had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
Update Feb. 4, 3:02 p.m.: James Austin was located safe and sound around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Taylor County in the Panhandle.

The Pinellas County Sheriffβs Office has issued a silver alert for a 73-year-old Largo man.

According to the agency, James Austin was last seen around 4 p.m. Tuesday at his home on Oak Village Drive. Austin was driving a silver 2007 Isuzu Ascender with Florida tag number G63-4WQ.
Deputies have classified Austin as endangered and say he suffers from the early stages of dementia.

Austin is described as a black male who stands about 6 feet in height. He weighs 180 pounds and has brown eyes and short black hair.
Anyone who sees Austin is asked to call local law enforcement.
