The Shadier Side of East and West Florida During the American Revolution

Largo Public Library presents Spies, Schemes, and the Sons of
Liberty: The Shadier Side of East and West Florida During the American
Revolution on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30pm. This one-hour seminar will
focus on the wild escapades of treason, revolutionary land schemes,
spies, and espionage that fill the annals of Florida history throughout
the Revolutionary War period. Dr. Roger Smith will introduce you to the
shadier side of British occupation in Florida and how those instances
impacted our nation's fight for independence.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of Largo Library and the
Florida Humanities Council. Please pick up your free pass at the library
