Truck Crashes into Largo Building
Two people were hospitalized following the Tuesday morning wreck.

An early Tuesday morning crash in Largo sent two people to the hospital and ended when one of the vehicles involved smashed into a building on East Bay Drive.
The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. when a Ford pickup truck towing a fifth-wheel RV was heading east on East Bay Drive near the Fulton intersection. A Lincoln Town Car was making a left turn from west bound East Bay Drive at the same time. The Lincoln struck the pickup, an email to media from the Largo Police Department stated. The pickupβs driver lost control and hit at building at 3201 East Bay Drive.
There were three people in the truck, but none required medical attention, police said. There was one person in the building at the time, but no injuries were reported.

The Lincoln also had three people inside. One person was airlifted to a local hospital while the other was taken by ground transport. The third person in the car did not require medical attention, police said.
