Pedestrian Discovers Woman's Body In Largo

LARGO, FL — The Largo Police Department is investigating the Sunday morning discovery of a woman’s body near the intersection of 145th Street North and Starboard Lane.

According to the agency, a person out for a walk found the woman in a scrub area near the intersection around 9:40 a.m. Police are asking for the public's help in determining her identity.

The woman is described as white and is estimated to be between the age of 20 and 50. She has reddish/blonde hair, a butterfly tattoo on her back right shoulder and a “T” tattoo on her left bicep. No further identifying information was released.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity or the case in general is asked to call the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730. No further information is available at this time, including the suspected cause of death.
