• Pinellas County considers closing more schools (stpetecatalyst.com) — Lealman residents face a major change as Pinellas County Schools considers closing Lealman Innovation Academy at the end of the 2026-27 school year as part of a broader consolidation plan. Several other Pinellas schools may also close or be converted to K-8 or fundamental programs, with final decisions scheduled for an October 13 School Board vote after additional community meetings.
