• Machete-Wielding Florida Man Arrested After Late-Night Boat Brawl (tampafp.com) — A Marathon resident was arrested after deputies say a late-night dispute aboard his boat escalated into a machete threat and physical attack, though the guest avoided serious injury. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office took the 66-year-old into custody and booked him into jail on aggravated assault and battery charges while investigators continue probing what sparked the outburst.
