• Central Florida students back to school in smaller numbers (mynews13.com) — Families in Meadow Woods are heading into the new school year without Meadow Woods Elementary, which has been closed and its students reassigned to nearby campuses after districtwide enrollment declines. Orange County Public Schools shut seven schools in total and is still deciding how to reuse the empty buildings, while promising extra support to help students and parents adjust to their new schools.
