• Miami Springs corrects conflicting school zone traffic signs after Local 10 investigation (local10.com) — Miami Springs has fixed conflicting school zone signs on Westward Drive, but questions remain about camera tickets issued while the signs disagreed. The police chief blamed camera operator RedSpeed for signage delays and said enforcement hours had remained unchanged. An attorney representing ticketed drivers is urging the city to dismiss tickets. 
• Which SWFL teams made FHSAA football playoffs? Who's out? (news-press.com) — Miami Springs is seeded sixth in Class 3A-Region 4 and will face third-seeded Dillard in the opening round of the football playoffs. The matchup appears in brackets released Nov. 6 by the FHSAA, with second-seeded Bishop Verot and seventh-seeded Key West also on that side of the regional bracket.
