2 Horses Stolen, Slaughtered For Meat: Miami-Dade Police Department

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL — Two adult horses were stolen from a residential property and later found slaughtered for their meat, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department news release.

The horses were stolen sometime between Tuesday at 9 p.m. and Wednesday at 9 a.m., investigators with the Agricultural Investigations Unit said.

During this time, the unknown suspects entered the fenced-in property and took the horses.

The horses’ slaughtered bodies were later found near the victim’s property, police said.
