2 Men Found Dead In Hotel Room At Former Versace Mansion: Police

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Two men were found dead in their hotel room at the Villa Casa Casuarina, a luxury hotel, at 1116 Ocean Drive Wednesday afternoon, according to Miami Beach police.

The hotel is located in the former South Beach mansion owned by Gianni Versace, the late fashion designer. Versace was shot and killed outside the mansion by serial killer Andrew Cunanan 24 years ago Thursday, Insider reported.

Around 1:20 p.m., police and fire rescue responded to a call from housekeeping that the two men were dead in a hotel room, police said.

The scene was contained to the hotel room and detectives are investigating their deaths.
