2 Seriously Hurt In Hit-And-Run: Miami Police

The overnight crash sent two people to the hospital in serious condition, according to police.

MIAMI — Two people were seriously injured in an overnight hit-and-run in Miami, according to police.

Officers responded shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday to the 2200 block of Southwest Eighth Street in Little Havana, where they found the driver of a motor scooter, as well as a another person, both of whom were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The crash appears to be a hit-and-run involving a second motorist, according to police, who said the incident remains under investigation.
