Unfortunately Bess complied.

"The victim met the offender at his vehicle, where he then opened fire shortly thereafter," said Bess. "The victim was struck multiple times, and managed to run back to her home, where she collapsed."

City of Miami Fire Rescue transported Bayard to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in "extremely" critical condition. She later succumbed to her injures.

Brown turned himself in and was taken into custody. He was charged with one count of first-degree murder.
