Carlos A. Torre named Best In State Wealth Advisor by Forbes

Carlos A. Torre, CFP®, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, was recently recognized on the Forbes "Best-In-State Wealth Advisors" list

Carlos A. Torre, CFP®, Senior Vice President of International Wealth Management with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, was recently recognized on the Forbes "Best-In-State Wealth Advisors" list. Torre has been in the financial services industry since 1990 and with Merrill Lynch since 1994. He works alongside his partners, Alfonso Jimenez, Anthony Scicchitano, Lynette Fernandez, Ryan Gonzalez, Carlos Castellanos and Amy Torre. With more than 20 years of experience with Merrill Lynch, Torre has served in leadership roles, including Senior Resident Director - International for 10 years and was a member of the Resident Director Advisory Council to Management from 2008-2011. He is a Certified Financial Planner who, alongside a team of dedicated professionals, works to make the complexities of their clients’ financial lives easy to understand and manage. Areas of specialization include working with families with cross border estate planning, tax and investments issues as well as families with closely held businesses.

A resident of Pinecrest for 14 years, Torre received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami and earned his master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University in Boston. He is also involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Christopher Columbus High School and The House of Hope for Costa Rican Children.

Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.
