CityPlace Doral to Collect Essential Relief Supplies to Support Those Impacted by the Earthquakes in

Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, families across the affected areas are facing significant hardship and an urgent need for humanitarian assistance. In an effort to support the community it serves, CityPlace Doral has initiated a collection of needed items to donate to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) located in Doral, FL.

Donations can be dropped off daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at CityPlace Doral’s Management or Security offices located behind Novecento, next to the public restrooms, starting Friday, June 26.

Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), a nonprofit organization specializing in rapid disaster response, has mobilized to offer immediate relief to impacted communities. Since its founding in 2011, GEM has been committed to delivering critical aid quickly and efficiently, ensuring support reaches those who need it most. Emergency response teams are currently on the ground assessing damage and distributing essential supplies.

Community support is vital, and there are several ways to help.

Items accepted at CityPlace Doral include the following:

• Non-perishable food, easily opened
• Personal care items
• Diapers and baby products
• First aid supplies
• Pet items
