FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — A masked, latex-clad, self-proclaimed “mistress” asked the Fort Lauderdale City Commission to use taxpayer money to build a BDSM dungeon, according to multiple reports.

The woman, who identified herself as Miss Crave and was joined by two silent individuals who were also masked and wearing latex, spoke before commissioners during their Tuesday meeting.

She addressed them as they considered a proposed $906,500 yard waste disposal contract with Waste Management Inc. (Watch the video from the meeting below.)

“Good evening council peoples,” she said. “You may call me mistress.”

The bondage and dominance practitioner told the council she was “neutral” to the motion to approve the contract, adding, “I do, however, find it interesting that you will spend almost $1 million to hide your secrets down the drain, hiding that condom I know you use to cheat on your spouse with.”

She proposed that the council use a quarter of the money designated for the Waste Management contract “to support the doms and subs in Broward County, to create a dungeon created for us, by us taxpayers and voting citizens.”

“Doms” and “subs” refer to dominant and submissive, respectively, in the BDSM subculture.

“Do not let this glamourous look distract you from doing your duty to take my demand,” she said. “I look forward to spanking each and every one of you at the new esteemed dungeon.”

As she walked away from the podium, commissioners wished her a “happy holidays.”

One commissioner asked the city manager, “Do any cities have a dungeon?”

“Not that I know of,” City Manager Greg Chavarria responded.
